Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Location: Mostured, Cairo, Egypt
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Day off: Friday & Saturday
‚ÄãJob Purpose
‚ÄãOversee the mechanical integrity, design verification, and smooth operation of production machinery and assembly lines. Responsible for maintaining mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, sheet metal stamping, injection molding, and tooling) to maximize production efficiency, minimize machine downtime, and maintain high product quality standards for home appliances.
‚Äã Key Responsibilities
‚Äã Equipment Maintenance & Operations-
‚ÄãLead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all mechanical machinery, hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems, sheet metal forming, and plastic injection molding equipment.
‚ÄãTroubleshoot mechanical failures on production and assembly lines to minimize downtime and prevent operational bottlenecks.
‚ÄãInspect, repair, and maintain mechanical drives, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and alignment systems.
‚ÄãTooling, Molds & Assembly Line Support-
‚ÄãSupervise the installation, setup, and maintenance of dies, molds, and tooling used in manufacturing appliance bodies and structural components.
‚ÄãCollaborate with assembly line teams to optimize mechanical fastening, sheet metal fitting, thermal insulation, and structural integrity of home appliances.
‚ÄãImplement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for mechanical defects or component failures during assembly and mass production.
‚ÄãReview and update 2D/3D mechanical drawings, assembly schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM) using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
‚ÄãPropose design modifications or material improvements to enhance appliance durability, reduce weight, or streamline manufacturing costs.
‚ÄãEnsure full compliance with mechanical safety regulations, machine guarding, and occupational health standards.
‚ÄãRequirements & Qualifications
​Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics.
‚ÄãExperience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing (preferably in home appliances, automotive, or heavy sheet metal/plastic fabrication).
‚ÄãTechnical Skills:
‚ÄãStrong expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical transmissions, and conveyor systems.
‚ÄãProficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reading and modifying mechanical drawings.
‚ÄãExperience with sheet metal forming/stamping, plastic injection molding, or tooling maintenance.
‚ÄãSolid understanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, bending, welding, foaming, assembly).
‚ÄãSoft Skills:
‚ÄãExcellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
‚ÄãStrong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with production, electrical, and quality teams.
‚ÄãAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced factory environment
