Role Description The Mathematics Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Elite Private School in Abu Dhabi. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of achievement. The role involves differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, integrating technology and hands-on activities, and supporting a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and professional development, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications * Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach a range of grade levels.
* Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing assessments and learning activities.
* Status as a Qualified Teacher, with appropriate teaching certification or licensure and a relevant bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
* Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience with modern teaching technologies, learning management systems, and data-informed instruction is highly beneficial.
* Prior teaching experience in international or bilingual school settings, particularly within ADEK or similar regulatory frameworks, is an advantage.
