Camfil is looking for a Material Research Manager MCC / Adsorbents to lead the development, qualification, and governance of materials used in our global Molecular Contamination Control (MCC) business to our TechCenter in Trosa, Sweden
In this role, you will lead a team of scientists and engineers while driving material strategy, innovation, supplier material qualification, and technical excellence across our MCC materials portfolio. You will work closely with Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, and R&D teams globally to ensure Camfil remains at the forefront of molecular filtration technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing materials team.
- Own the MCC materials roadmap and innovation pipeline.
- Drive development and qualification of adsorbents and molecular filtration media.
- Establish new material specifications.
- Lead technical supplier qualification and material governance.
- Support product development, manufacturing, and customer-facing technical activities.
- Build external partnerships with universities, research institutes, and technology providers.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in materials development, filtration, adsorption technologies, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, minimum 5 years' experience.
- Strong technical, strategic, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English. Additional languages are beneficial.
