Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role based in Doha, Qatar. The LPN will provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, documenting health histories, assisting with examinations, and supporting minor procedures within a holistic wellness framework. Daily responsibilities include administering medications as directed, monitoring patient responses, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and supporting safe, clean, and welcoming treatment environments. The LPN will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and wellness practitioners to ensure coordinated care plans that reflect both clinical best practices and SEED’s integrative approach. The role also involves patient education on wellness, treatment adherence, and preventive care, as well as active participation in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent) credential, with eligibility to practice in Qatar; completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic clinical nursing skills, including vital signs assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring.
- Strong patient-centered communication skills, including the ability to explain care plans clearly, provide education, and build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on coordinated, holistic care and respect for different professional disciplines.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures consistently.
- Experience and proficiency with cannulation.
- Interest in or exposure to holistic, integrative, or wellness-oriented healthcare models is highly beneficial.
- Adaptability to a new and evolving care environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple patient needs.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills or other languages are an asset.
- Prior experience in outpatient, wellness, or primary care settings is preferred, but candidates with strong foundational clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
