Key Responsibilities
- Research and respond to tickets submitted by our Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, and other internal teams.
- Provide practical guidance on topics including corporate and commercial law, employment, payroll, employment tax, contractor arrangements, and related regulatory matters.
- Translate legislation, official guidance, and external legal advice into clear and commercially useful answers.
- Create, update, and quality-check knowledge base content, including country guides, FAQs, playbooks, process documents, and decision trees.
- Write internal and client-facing articles explaining complex legal and regulatory topics in accessible language.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and ensure that affected knowledge materials remain accurate and current.
- Help develop internal technical training, workshops, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Assist client-facing teams in preparing tailored materials and answering technical questions.
- Join client calls when legal knowledge support or additional subject-matter context is required.
- Support automation initiatives by helping convert legal requirements into structured rules, workflows, templates, and decision logic.
- Review automated outputs for legal accuracy, clarity, consistency, and appropriate risk qualification.
- Work closely with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Compliance, Product, Operations, Sales, and Customer Experience teams.
- Coordinate with external advisers where specialist or jurisdiction-specific confirmation is required.
- Maintain clear sources, review dates, ownership records, and audit trails for knowledge content.
Requirements
- A law degree or relevant legal qualification.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in a legal, regulatory, advisory, or knowledge-focused role.
- Practical experience in corporate and commercial law.
- A working understanding of employment, payroll, and employment tax matters.
- Experience creating, maintaining, or governing legal and technical knowledge content.
- Strong legal research skills and the ability to work confidently across unfamiliar jurisdictions and subject areas.
- Excellent legal and technical writing skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and actionable.
- Strong professional English, both written and spoken.
- Sound judgment and the ability to distinguish between general guidance, confirmed legal requirements, and matters requiring specialist escalation.
- Confidence supporting client-facing colleagues and participating in client discussions.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, organisation, and respect for deadlines.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across legal, technical, operational, and commercial teams.
