Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven B2B Sales & Lead Generation Agent to help expand their client base across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying prospective businesses, conducting outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and securing appointments for senior team members. Initially, the role will focus heavily on prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting, with the opportunity to take on more direct sales responsibilities as you become familiar with the company's products and customers.
Schedule: Flexible within UK business hours; Full-time role, 40 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Research and build targeted prospect lists of businesses requiring workwear, uniforms, embroidery, or branded apparel.
- Conduct high-volume B2B outbound calls to introduce the company and identify potential opportunities.
- Qualify prospects based on their business requirements, purchasing needs, and level of interest.
- Secure qualified appointments for senior team members to conduct consultations or on-site visits.
- Follow up consistently with prospects across multiple touchpoints to nurture opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, lead status, follow-ups, and next steps.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including call volume, qualified leads, appointments booked, and conversion rates.
- Provide regular progress updates and communicate professionally with both prospects and internal team members.
- As the role develops, transition into direct selling of selected product bundles and uniform solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B outbound sales, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a confident, professional phone manner.
- Ability to independently research, source, and qualify prospective clients.
- Comfortable conducting a high volume of outbound calls and managing structured follow-up sequences.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with dialer systems, CRMs, and outbound sales workflows.
- Organized and disciplined approach to prospect tracking and follow-up.
- Ability to work effectively during UK business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling to or prospecting UK-based businesses.
- Background in workwear, uniforms, apparel, embroidery, promotional products, or related B2B services.
- Experience progressing from lead generation into direct sales or account management.
