Role Description The Junior Procurement Engineer - Arch is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for supporting the architectural procurement activities for construction and fit-out projects. This role involves preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), evaluating supplier offers, and assisting in negotiating terms to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications. The Junior Procurement Engineer will help create and process purchase orders, track material deliveries, and coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing supplier performance and market data, and supporting the implementation of PCP’s procurement procedures and standards. The role also requires regular communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, ensure quality, and support smooth project execution.
Qualifications

- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Architecture or related discipline), Construction Management, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of construction materials, architectural finishes, and basic procurement procedures; prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in construction or procurement is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and, preferably, ERP or procurement software; strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and uphold PCP’s standards of reliability, accountability, and quality.
