Job Objective
Your role as a Junior Credit Officer is to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the Credit function by maintaining accurate credit records, performing CDR inquiries, supporting credit documentation controls, and following up on outstanding accounts to ensure efficient and well-organized credit operations.
Main Tasks
- Perform daily CDR inquiries and update relevant records.
- Enter and maintain customer and credit information in the CRM/system.
- Maintain, file, and safeguard credit files and supporting documentation.
- Conduct a preliminary review of signed credit documentation.
- Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up with the relevant parties.
- Follow up on unpaid and overdue accounts and support collection-related activities.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Credit function.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of credit-related records, trackers, and operational reports.
- Follow established credit procedures, internal controls, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Escalate documentation discrepancies, system issues, or unusual cases to senior team members when required.
- Document tasks and projects as needed to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in banking, fintech, lending, credit administration, financial services, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in Local Language and English is required.
- Basic understanding of credit and lending operations.
- Basic knowledge of credit documentation and customer records.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and filing skills.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work with CRM and financial systems.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
