We are working with an established Nordic infrastructure investor on an Investment Associate hire for their team in Stockholm. The firm has close to €2bn in committed capital from leading Nordic and European institutional investors and offices across the Nordic capitals.
They invest for the long term across energy and renewables, digital infrastructure, transport and social infrastructure, and stay closely involved in their companies after closing.
The role
You will work across the full investment lifecycle, from new deals to portfolio work and fundraising. Lean team, flat structure and real responsibility early, working side by side with senior investment professionals.
What you'll do
- Build financial models, valuations and investment cases
- Assess companies, markets and new investment opportunities
- Run workstreams in live deals: due diligence, financing and execution
- Prepare investment committee papers and presentations
- Coordinate advisers and internal teams across complex processes
- Support portfolio companies, with growing exposure to management and board topics
- Help with origination, sector research and fundraising
What we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years in investment banking, M&A, corporate finance, leveraged finance, debt advisory, project finance, private equity or top-tier consulting
- Strong modelling, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good grasp of valuation and financial statements
- Infrastructure experience is a plus, not a must
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record
- Fluent English; a Nordic language is a plus
