Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghazir. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including network systems, user devices, and core business applications. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, managing hardware and software installations, resolving technical issues, and ensuring system availability for retail and corporate operations. The specialist will implement and maintain basic network security measures, support end users with troubleshooting requests, and document IT procedures and configurations. Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and service providers is required to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology and familiarity with common operating systems, hardware, and business applications.
- Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of local networks and connectivity.
- Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting and problem-solving for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Knowledge of basic Network Security principles and practices to help safeguard systems and data.
- Customer Service skills to provide clear, respectful, and timely support to internal users and store teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghazir, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience in retail, fashion, or multi-branch environments, and familiarity with POS or ERP.
