Industrialization Engineer — Delft Circuits (Delft, on-site)
Help us industrialize the cabling behind quantum computers first hand!
Our Cri/oFlex® cables connect quantum computers at temperatures colder than outer space. The products are technically excellent. Now we need to make their manufacturing reliable, repeatable and scalable.
The role
As an Industrialization Engineer in our Industrialization & Quality team, you work close to the factory, improving processes, tooling, fixtures, SOPs and workflows. You also contribute to larger scale-up projects such as equipment concepts, outsourced machines and CapEx proposals. You don't need to be equally strong on both sides. What matters is that you understand manufacturing systems and improve them in a practical way.
What you'll work on
- Improving yield, throughput and stability by reducing bottlenecks, variation, rework and operator dependency
- Designing holders, cassettes, fixtures and production tools
- Turning lessons learned into robust production standards, together with Manufacturing and Process Development
- Translating capacity needs into solutions for equipment, tooling, automation and layout
- Specifying equipment and tooling with external suppliers
What you bring
- A technical HBO or MSc background (mechanical, mechatronics, industrial engineering, applied physics or similar)
- 2–8 years of experience in manufacturing, tooling, equipment, process improvement or scale-up
- A practical and systematic mindset: you fix today's problem and think about the structural solution
- Good collaboration with operators, engineers and suppliers
- English is required; Dutch is a plus
- Bonus points for Lean / Six Sigma, poka-yoke, FMEA, SPC or CapEx experience
This is not a pure R&D role or a desk-based project management role. You'll be close to the factory, the people and the daily reality of manufacturing.
Why Delft Circuits?
- Work on technology at the forefront of quantum computing
- Shape how our factory scales, close to the shop floor and the people
- Competitive salary (€54,229–€71,429 incl. holiday allowance)
- 30 vacation days, PME pension, travel reimbursement, two training days per year and CAO Metalektro
