Role Description The IAM-PAM Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for leading the Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) function. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM/PAM solutions, ensuring secure access controls, least-privilege principles, and compliance with internal and external standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing a team of IAM/PAM specialists, prioritizing and assigning work, reviewing technical designs, and guiding the deployment and integration of tools across client environments. The Team Lead collaborates with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to address access risks, support audits, and resolve incidents or escalations related to identities and privileged accounts. The role also involves developing policies and procedures, mentoring team members, and contributing to roadmap planning and continuous improvement of IAM/PAM capabilities.
Qualifications
- * Strong expertise in IAM/PAM technologies and practices, including role-based access control, least-privilege management, and identity lifecycle management.
- Experience leading technical teams, with skills in task planning, performance feedback, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid background in cybersecurity fundamentals, access governance, and risk management within enterprise or service provider environments.
- Proficiency in implementing and integrating IAM/PAM solutions with directory services, applications, and infrastructure (e.g., AD/LDAP, cloud platforms).
- Ability to analyze complex access issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and support security incident investigations and audits.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, documenting procedures, and presenting recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM/PAM certifications) are beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
