Lead the agenda for employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and culture, translating market insight, employee data and business priorities into evidence-based people strategies and scalable programmes for the Bank.
The role is accountable for programme design, execution and measurable impact, ensuring initiatives strengthen employee experience, engagement, culture and organisational performance. The role will operate with senior stakeholders and influence the people agenda through compelling data, insights and demonstrable ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Programme Leadership
- Influence the Group strategy for employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and culture, aligned to business and people priorities.
- Translate external market trends, employee insights and organizational data into differentiated, evidence-based interventions.
- Design and implement programmes, frameworks and standards across the Group, while enabling appropriate local adaptation.
- Build an integrated annual agenda, prioritizing initiatives based on employee impact, business value and investment.
Data, Analytics & ROI
- Establish robust measures and dashboards to track engagement, participation, adoption, employee experience and programme outcomes.
- Analyse internal and external data to identify trends, workforce needs, risks and opportunities.
- Develop clear business cases, investment models and ROI measures for major people programmes.
- Demonstrate the relationship between engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives and business outcomes such as retention, productivity, performance and talent attraction.
- Use data and experimentation to continuously refine programmes and discontinue initiatives that do not demonstrate sufficient impact.
Senior Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as a trusted adviser to Heads of HR and EXCO and senior leadership on engagement, culture, wellbeing and employee experience.
- Influence senior stakeholders through strong commercial insight, compelling data and clear recommendations.
- Partner with HR leaders, business leaders, Communications, Reward, Talent, DEI and other functions to embed initiatives into the broader people strategy.
- Present insights, recommendations, progress and ROI to executive and governance forums.
Execution & Continuous Improvement
- Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver high-quality programmes at scale.
- Establish clear governance, accountability, milestones and success measures for strategic initiatives.
- Benchmark the organization against leading global practices and continuously identify opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure programmes are inclusive, scalable, digitally enabled and relevant across diverse markets and employee populations.
Experience
- 15-17 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience leading employee engagement, wellbeing, culture, recognition or employee experience agendas in a large, complex organization.
- Experience operating at Enterprise , regional or multinational level, ideally across multiple countries and diverse employee populations.
- Ideal combination of consulting and line HR experience across various HR areas
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale people programmes from strategy through to implementation and measurement.
- Strong experience using people analytics, employee listening and market data to shape strategy and demonstrate impact.
- Demonstrable experience developing business cases and articulating ROI, value and investment trade-offs to senior leadership.
- Experience influencing senior executives and working effectively across a matrix organisation.
