About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping function at a premium waterfront hotel and serviced residences destination in Dubai Marina. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing room attendant and public area operations across both hotel guest rooms and residential units, ensuring every space meets the highest luxury presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, roster and develop the housekeeping team across guest rooms, suites, residential units and public areas.
- Own occupancy-driven planning: manpower forecasting, room allocation, deep-clean cycles and turndown/arrival readiness.
- Drive inspection discipline — conduct daily random and pre-arrival inspections against brand and quality standards.
- Manage linen, chemical, uniform and consumable inventory; control cost per occupied room against budget.
- Partner closely with Front Office on room status, early check-ins, VIP arrivals and out-of-order rooms.
- Coordinate with Engineering on defect reporting and preventive maintenance of guest-facing areas.
- Manage outsourced/contract cleaning vendors and monitor service levels and SLAs.
- Maintain health, safety and hygiene compliance, including chemical handling and pest-control coordination.
- Deliver training on SOPs, luxury service etiquette, lost & found, key control and guest privacy protocols.
- Report on productivity, cleanliness scores, guest feedback (housekeeping-related) and team engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years at Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager level.
- Proven experience in 4/5-star hotels; exposure to branded serviced residences or aparthotels strongly preferred.
- Experience with high-volume, mixed hotel-and-residence operations is a distinct advantage.
- Strong command of Opera PMS and housekeeping modules; proficient in MS Excel for rosters and budget tracking.
- Excellent eye for detail, grooming standards and luxury presentation.
- Effective leader of large, multicultural teams with strong communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Available to join soon — UAE/GCC experience preferred.
