The nursery is located in ElSheikh Zayed and is designed to provide high-quality care and education in a supportive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Role Description The Homeroom Nursery Teacher (English) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kafr ash Shaykh. The teacher will lead an English-language homeroom class, creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 1–5 years. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS British Curriculum, facilitating play-based and activity-based learning indoors and outdoors, and monitoring each child’s progress through observation and documentation. The teacher will communicate regularly with families about children’s development, collaborate with colleagues on class events and activities, and contribute to camps, enrichment programs, and special projects as needed. Maintaining classroom organization, health and safety standards, and positive behavior guidance are integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, preferably with experience in early childhood settings or nurseries.
* Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning aligned with the EYFS or similar early years curriculum.
* Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and collaborative manner.
* Experience in delivering child-centered Training* or guidance, supporting children’s independence and social-emotional development.
* Fluency in English, with the ability to model language through stories, songs, and classroom dialogue.
* Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification).
* Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practice, child safeguarding, and positive behavior support.
* Organizational skills to manage classroom routines, maintain records, and prepare learning materials.
