Role Description The Head Roaster is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait, responsible for overseeing all coffee roasting operations within Loft’s facilities. This role includes planning and executing daily roasting schedules, calibrating and operating roasting equipment, and ensuring consistent quality and flavor profiles across all coffee offerings. The Head Roaster will manage green coffee inventory, maintain detailed roast logs, conduct regular cuppings and sensory evaluations, and implement quality control protocols. The role also involves training and mentoring team members on roasting techniques and coffee knowledge, collaborating with management on product development, and supporting customer-facing teams with technical information about Loft’s specialty coffee. The Head Roaster is expected to maintain a safe, clean workspace and align roasting practices with Loft’s standards of professionalism and innovation.
