We are looking for an experienced and results-driven General Accounting Manager to join our Finance Department and oversee general accounting operations across all our branches in Iraq.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating accounting activities across all branches, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls, and consistent implementation of accounting policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee general accounting operations across all company branches in Iraq.

Review and approve financial statements, management reports, and financial records.

Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT reports, and statutory tax documents.

Monitor cash flow, financial balances, accounts, and organizational liabilities across branches.

Review and approve personnel-related and service-related payments.
-
Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts receivable, fixed asset records, depreciation, and expense accounts.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, Social Security auditors, and other regulatory bodies.

Support financial planning, budgeting, and the development of accounting policies and procedures.

Lead or participate in internal audits and ensure effective financial controls across all branches.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documents.

Coordinate with branch management and relevant departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience .

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and profit and loss analysis.

Excellent knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and Social Security requirements.

Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and financial reporting skills.

Ability to coordinate financial operations across multiple branches and work effectively with different teams.
Salary:
Salary will be determined during the interview based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and competencies.**
