Role Description The Fire Fighting Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhahran. The supervisor oversees firefighting teams during daily operations, training, drills, and emergency responses, ensuring that procedures are followed and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating shift schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring equipment readiness, and maintaining documentation and incident reports. The role involves enforcing fire safety rules, conducting inspections of fire protection systems, and supporting investigations after incidents to improve future response. The supervisor collaborates with internal departments, site management, and relevant authorities to enhance overall fire safety and preparedness.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Team Leadership abilities to manage firefighting crews and coordinate activities effectively.
* Candidates should possess knowledge of Law Enforcement and Physical Security practices to support safety compliance and incident control.
* Candidates should possess experience in Retail Loss Prevention or similar risk management environments, particularly in identifying and mitigating safety hazards.
* Candidates should possess a solid understanding of fire protection systems, firefighting techniques, and emergency response procedures.
* Candidates should possess relevant certifications or training in firefighting, fire safety, or emergency management (e.g., NFPA standards, local civil defense requirements).
* Candidates should possess good communication skills, the ability to document incidents clearly, and the capacity to train and mentor team members.
* Candidates should possess physical fitness suitable for firefighting duties and the ability to work in high-pressure, time-critical situations.
* Candidates should possess prior experience in a supervisory firefighting or safety role; experience in industrial or oil and gas environments is an advantage.
