Role Description The Family Physician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmadi, Kuwait, providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across all age groups. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing clinical assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and providing preventive care and health education. The role involves coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, managing follow-up visits, and ensuring continuity of care for patients with complex needs. The physician will also participate in community health initiatives, maintain accurate medical records, adhere to Ministry of Health clinical guidelines, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety activities.
Qualifications
- * Strong skills and experience in Primary Care and Family Medicine, with the ability to manage a wide range of conditions across all age groups.
- Clinical proficiency in Medicine and Urgent Care, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment in outpatient settings.
- Background in Community Health, with a focus on prevention, health promotion, and managing public health concerns.
- Recognized medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency or specialist training in Family Medicine or General Practice.
- Valid medical license and eligibility to practice in Kuwait according to Ministry of Health requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, continuous learning, and adherence to clinical guidelines and safety standards.
- Experience in electronic medical records and basic computer literacy; proficiency in English required, Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
