Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facultative Reinsurance.
- Previous experience with a reinsurance broker, insurance company.
- Hands-on experience in Facultative placements and dealing with local and international markets.
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Facultative Reinsurance principles and market practices.
- Ability to prepare and review reinsurance submissions, slips, quotations, and placement documents.
- Experience in negotiating terms, conditions with reinsurers.
- Good understanding of insurance/reinsurance wordings.
- Ability to analyze risks and approach suitable markets.
- Experience in handling renewals and new business placements.
- Knowledge of major classes of business, preferably:
- Property
- Marine
- Energy
- Liability

Competencies:
- Strong relationships with local and international reinsurance market is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Very good command of English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple placements simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
