Job Description: Fit-Out Estimator
Location: Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE
Salary: Up to AED 7,000 per month

About the Role
Our client, an established interior design and fit-out company in Al Quoz, Dubai, is looking for a detail-oriented Fit-Out Estimator. You will prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for residential and commercial fit-out projects, working closely with the design, procurement, and project teams to keep bids competitive and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Study drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Prepare BOQs, pricing schedules, and complete tender submissions within deadlines.
- Get and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, joinery, MEP, and finishes.
- Visit sites to assess project scope, take measurements, and verify existing conditions.
- Work with designers and project managers on value engineering and cost-saving alternatives.
- Track material prices, labour rates, and market trends in the UAE fit-out industry.
- Support variation pricing and cost control during project execution.
- Maintain an organised database of rates, quotations, and past estimates.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of fit-out estimation experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- A valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery, finishes, and MEP cost components.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD. Familiarity with estimation software such as PlanSwift or CostX is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle several tenders at once.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Available to join immediately.
