We are seeking an experienced and results-driven ELV Project Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. In this role, you will lead site operations, coordinate closely with MEP disciplines, ensure compliance with local and international standards, and manage subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Execution & System Integration
- Design, install, test, and commission full-scope ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA/VA, Structured Cabling, BMS, AV, and IPTV.
- Program, configure, and integrate major ELV platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Hikvision, Dahua).
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning procedures to ensure systems meet design specifications and operational requirements prior to handover.
MEP Coordination & Design Integration
- Coordinate seamlessly with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to align ELV infrastructure with overall MEP layouts.
- Conduct clash detection and spatial coordination to resolve system conflicts prior to site installation.
- Develop, review, and approve technical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematic designs.
Project Management & Site Operations
- Oversee site supervision, subcontractor work, and daily field operations to ensure quality execution.
- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budget controls from kickoff to final project handover.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective problem-solving strategies to maintain delivery timelines.
Compliance, Quality & Governance
- Ensure all installations comply strictly with international codes and standards, including NFPA, BS, IEC, and TIA/EIA.
- Secure necessary approvals in full compliance with local authority regulations (Civil Defense, Municipality, and relevant statutory bodies).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, site logs, QA/QC reports, and handover packages.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record in site engineering, ELV design, and MEP project delivery.
Software & Tools Proficiency
- Drafting & BIM: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks (Clash Detection).
- Project Management: MS Project or Primavera P6.
- System Vendor Platforms: Hands-on experience with Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Hikvision, Dahua, or equivalent enterprise systems.
Certifications (Advantageous)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- BICSI Certification (RCDD or equivalent)
- NEBOSH / Health & Safety Certifications
