Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Electro Mechanical Engineer role based in Basra. The Electro Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electro-mechanical systems and components, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily tasks include performing calculations, preparing technical drawings and documentation, and conducting inspections and tests on electrical and mechanical equipment. The role involves diagnosing faults, proposing corrective actions, and supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to process improvements and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electricity and core Electrical Engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering and Electromechanics skills for integrated system design and analysis.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for troubleshooting, calculations, and data-driven decision making.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant standards, safety regulations, and best practices in electro-mechanical systems.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience with industrial equipment, control systems, or maintenance engineering is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Basra.
- 1,2 years of expierence of practical construction works.
- Ability to control all the equipments out of warehouse or installed in the buildings, minus or extra equipments..
