Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DevOps with strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and production operations.
The ideal candidate should have experience designing, implementing, and administering highly available cloud environments across AWS and Azure, along with strong Linux administration and automation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, harden, and patch Linux servers, primarily Ubuntu and Amazon Linux.
- Perform OS baselining, vulnerability assessment, patching, and security hardening.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Administer web and proxy servers including Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, and HAProxy.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, networking, SSL/TLS certificates, and Certificate Authorities.
- Design, implement, and administer AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Work extensively with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, SNS, SES, CloudWatch, CloudFront, WAF, CloudTrail, Route 53, VPC, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, Security Groups, ElastiCache, Memcached, DynamoDB, CodeDeploy, and CodeBuild.
- Design and manage VPCs, VPC Peering, Load Balancers (ALB/ELB/NLB), and Transit Gateways.
- Act as an SME for cloud networking and application architecture across multiple clouds and regions, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Lead or support on-premises to cloud migrations.
- Analyze cloud usage and optimize infrastructure costs by eliminating unnecessary over-provisioning.
- Implement and administer container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift, AWS EKS/ECS.
- Work with Helm and ArgoCD for application deployment and GitOps workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams on containerization and deployment of MEAN stack applications.
- Support microservices architecture and deployment patterns.
- Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Build Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Design and administer code repositories using GitLab or GitHub.
- Manage GitLab Runners, GitHub Actions, branching strategies, and commit hooks.
- Configure and administer CI/CD and build systems including Jenkins or Spinnaker.
- Integrate automated testing, code coverage, functional testing, and stress testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Android and iOS application build and release processes.
- Set up development/build environments involving Kotlin, Xcode, Swift, Fastlane, and MEAN stack.
- Manage caching and search technologies including Redis, Memcached, and Elasticsearch.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability platforms using Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
- Work with Jira, Confluence, and similar collaboration/project management tools.
- Support impact assessment, release planning, deployment strategies, incident management, and change management.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps / CloudOps experience.
- Strong Linux administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of networking, VPC, load balancing, DNS, routing, security groups, and certificates.
- Experience with Kubernetes / EKS / ECS and container technologies.
- Strong experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Spinnaker.
- Strong scripting/automation skills using Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab repository administration and branching strategies.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant STEM/technical discipline.
