Senior Data, Analytics & AI Solution Architect

We are hiring for an Israeli multinational pharmaceutical corporation seeking a hands-on Senior Solution Architect to lead enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives in a Microsoft-first environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and delivery-ready technical solutions.
- Lead and guide distributed technical teams throughout design, implementation, and production.
- Remain hands-on through prototyping, troubleshooting, architecture and code reviews, and production-readiness checks.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, governance, compliance, performance, and cost requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, and external suppliers.
Must-have experience:
- 15+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years in senior solution architecture roles.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and owning complex enterprise solutions from design through production.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Power BI architecture, including semantic models, DAX, Power Query, governance, and performance optimization.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Azure-based data platforms.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, SQL, dimensional data modeling, and ETL/ELT.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, governance, compliance, integration, and non-functional requirements.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Advantage:
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD, Microsoft Entra, Purview, Key Vault, or regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
