Role Description
We are looking for a Customer Experience Associate/ Simulator Technician to keep our racing simulators running at their best and to help deliver a first-class experience to every guest. This is a broad, hands-on role that combines technical work with guest interaction, day-to-day administration, and support on the commercial and growth side of the business. It is based mainly at our Yas Island facility, with travel to events held on and offsite.
What You Will
- DoSet up, operate, and maintain our racing simulators, ensuring peak performance and reliability
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help source repairs, replacements, and upgrades as needed
- Prepare and pack equipment for offsite events and activations, and support setup and teardown on location
- Support guests during sessions and events, giving clear guidance and a smooth, professional experience
- Keep accurate records of equipment, stock, and maintenance
- Handle day-to-day administration and prepare regular reports on operations, bookings, and performance
- Support client enquiries, bookings, and deals, helping turn interest into confirmed experiences and building strong client relationships
- Spot opportunities to upsell and enhance the guest experience where it adds real value
- Contribute to planning and growth initiatives, sharing ideas to improve the experience and help the business expand
- Help ensure the facility is kept clean, organised, and event-ready to a high standard
- Take on related tasks as the business grows and needs evolve
Skills
What We Are LookingFor
- Trustworthy, teachable, and dependable, with real integrity
- Comfortable and confident with PCs, with a genuine knack for troubleshooting
- Good communication skills. A second language is a plus but not required
- Organised and reliable, comfortable with admin, reporting, and keeping things documented
- Confident dealing with clients, and comfortable contributing ideas as we plan and grow. Commercial awareness is a plus
- Spots what could work better and acts on it, rather than settling for the way it has always been done
- Happy to be part of a small team where your contribution genuinely moves the needle
- A genuine interest in racing, esports, or gaming
- Minimum college-level education. A completed degree is preferred
- Happy to work flexible and extended hours rather than a fixed schedule
- Willing to travel for events and offsite work, with Yas Island as the main base
- Candidates already on their own visa and driver's license are welcome, though this is not a requirement
