Cost Control Engineer
Giza Power is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Control Engineer to join our growing team and support our projects across Civil Construction, Electrical Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets across civil, electrical, and renewable energy projects.
• Conduct detailed cost estimation for tenders, bids, and ongoing projects.
• Track project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and provide corrective recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency and effective budget control.
• Develop accurate cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses for senior management and clients.
• Support claims management by providing accurate cost data, records, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance and identify potential cost risks and savings opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable industry standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Cost Control, Cost Engineering, or Project Controls.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of contracts, claims, and project financial management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant cost control/project management tools.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
