Corporate Business Development Specialist – MENA (Amman)
Ever thought of working in an ambitious, international M&A team? At Total Specific Solutions (TSS), we build the foundation for progress. Will you help us realise our ambition?
3 reasons to choose TSS
Unique atmosphere: the knowledge of a large international company with the energy of an SME.
Ambition: the many companies that have already joined us are only a fraction of what we aim for.
Endless possibilities: together, we keep looking for the next challenge in your career.
The role
To grow our company portfolio, we are looking for a motivated professional for a junior role, to find and approach B2B software companies across the MENA region. You are the first contact in our acquisition process, and you help build our M&A pipeline for the long term.
You search for and identify companies that have built an attractive business. You research each company in depth, to understand its products and its future roadmap. Once you have found the right companies, you start conversations with their founders, managing directors and other C-level executives, and you build a long-lasting relationship with them. Over time, you learn when the moment is right to start an acquisition process with the company, together with our management. In this way, you contribute directly to the pre-acquisition work that grows our portfolio.
Together with your team, you map and analyse vertical market software markets across the region. Along the way, you deepen your knowledge of M&A in different markets and cultures. You report to the Director for the MENA Corporate team and join our Corporate BD team, as part of the wider TSS international M&A network.
What you will do
Research target companies in depth: their products, their market and their future roadmap.
Grow our M&A prospect database across the MENA region by identifying vertical market software (VMS) businesses that meet our acquisition criteria.
Reach out to potential targets by phone, video call, email and social media.
Visit trade shows and industry events to meet potential targets.
Use marketing and CRM data to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
Follow up on outbound and inbound prospect activities on time.
Hold first conversations with companies (by phone, video and face to face) to qualify potential targets.
Record meetings and interactions in Salesforce, our CRM system.
Who you are
At least 2 years of experience in commercial roles.
This is a junior role and a first step into M&A. Everyone who wants to build a career in this field is welcome to apply.
Independent and proactive, and a good team player.
Commercially minded and comfortable approaching senior executives who don't know our company yet.
You understand the basics of finance, or have a real interest in the financial and investment world.
Able to work towards targets, and eager to learn.
Strong in (online) research.
Entrepreneurial in mindset, methodical in approach.
Requirements
Native Arabic speaker with a high level of English. Other languages spoken in the MENA region are welcome.
Jordanian nationality or a valid Jordanian residence permit.
Able to travel across the MENA region without restrictions. Being able to travel to the EU is a plus.
Willing to travel 25% of the time, to events and meetings in the MENA region and other regions.
Where you work
Our office in central Amman. During your first 6 months, you work fully from the office. After that, depending on your performance, you can work remotely up to 3 days per week.
What we offer
Attractive compensation package.
Extensive on-the-job training and our Five Star Business Development Program.
A highly international work environment and the chance to work in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Full-time position (40 hours per week) with a 1-year contract and the chance of a permanent extension.
Room to grow in a fast-growing international company.
Timeline
Apply by 25 October 2026. Interviews start after 26 October and take place remotely, with a possible final interview in person. You will hear from us by early December at the latest. The planned start date is 15 January 2027.
