Role Description The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing all contract-related activities for Tasheed Developments’ real estate projects in Alexandria, Egypt. This full-time, on-site role includes
• Led end-to-end contract and tendering management, including pre-contract strategy, bid evaluation, contract drafting, execution, administration, and close-out.
• Reviewed and interpreted contract conditions to ensure full compliance with legal frameworks, financial thresholds, and internal/external governance requirements.
• Managed tendering processes, including preparation of tender documents, technical and commercial evaluation, cost comparison, and recommendation of contract awards.
• Conducted cost analysis and commercial assessments for bids, variations, and claims to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Evaluated and determined Variation Orders, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and contractual claims, issuing formal contractual determinations and advising senior management accordingly.
• Coordinated with finance teams on payment certifications, billing accuracy, insurance compliance, and financial controls.
• Managed contractual disputes and sensitive commercial matters with professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to contract provisions.
• Actively engaged with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication across project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, experience in real estate or construction is must.
- Experience in Contracts minimum 7 years
- Strong analytical and financial skills for assessing contract terms, pricing structures, and risk exposure.
- Knowledge of contract law, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks relevant to real estate in Egypt.
- Skills in contract administration, change management, and claims handling throughout the project lifecycle.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with contract management and office software tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
