We're looking for a commercially sharp Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our Commerce Platform business in Sweden.
This is a sales-first role but not a pure hunting seat. You'll own the full commercial cycle: building pipeline, pitching and closing strategic partnerships, and then growing those accounts into long-term, high-value relationships. If you love the thrill of closing a deal and the satisfaction of growing it afterward, this is your seat.
You'll report directly to the Head of Commerce Platform Sweden.
What You'll Be Doing
- * Build and run your own pipeline - identify, prospect, and engage high-potential merchants and enterprise partners across Sweden
- Close deals - lead negotiations and convert prospects into signed, committed partners
- Own the full sales cycle - from first outreach through onboarding, expansion, and renewal
- Grow your book of business - drive upsell and cross-sell of additional Commerce Platform products across your portfolio to hit and exceed revenue targets
- Sell at the top - build relationships with merchant decision-makers and position yourself as their go-to strategic advisor
- Use data to win - track pipeline health, conversion, and key sales metrics to sharpen your approach and hit targets consistently
- Shape what you sell - feed market and customer insight back into product development and strategic initiatives
Our humble expectations
- * 3+ years in business development, sales, account management, consulting, or partnerships with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, marketplaces, retail tech, payments, or logistics is highly valued
- Strong commercial instincts - you can spot an opportunity, structure a pitch, and close it
- Confident negotiator who's comfortable owning a number and being measured against it
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building in fast-moving environments
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership mentality, and willingness to roll up your sleeves
