We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of our fit-out and renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's commercial interests, managing contracts, controlling project costs, maximizing profitability, and ensuring timely and accurate commercial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts and commercial activities from tender stage through project completion.
- Review and administer main contracts, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
- Manage project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
- Prepare and manage variations, claims, valuations, and final accounts.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations and agreements.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports for management.
- Coordinate with Project Management, QS, Procurement, Estimation, and Finance teams.
- Ensure proper contractual documentation and compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in fit-out, interior contracting, renovation, or construction Contract & Commercial Management is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, variations, claims, valuations, cost control, and final accounts.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.
Skills
- Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial management skills.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction and fit-out practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
