TL;DR
→ You design, build and operate cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients on Azure and/or AWS, from landing zones and migrations to Kubernetes platforms and AI foundations.
→ Consultant role across the Nordics, with clients spanning industries from financial services to manufacturing.
→ You work in cross-functional delivery teams alongside data engineers, GenAI developers and architects, each owning a distinct layer of the stack.
→ Certifications without a debate. Colleagues who are obsessed with the craft. Freedom to grow your way.
What you'll do
As a Cloud Engineer at Redeploy, you own the infrastructure layer. You write Terraform, structure IaC modules, set up CI/CD pipelines, and make architectural decisions that hold up under real enterprise constraints. You come in before the solution is defined, shape what gets built with the client, then build it.
A few examples of what this looks like in practice:
Leading a full-scale cloud migration for one of the Nordics' largest e-commerce platforms, covering wave planning, IaC deployment, DNS cutover and post-migration validation across Azure and AWS.
Designing and deploying a governed self-service landing zone for a global manufacturing enterprise, enabling subsidiary teams to provision their own environments in minutes while central governance and security policies stay intact.
Building an AI-powered data platform for an industrial IoT company, turning billions of unqueryable sensor event files into a structured, analytics-ready environment using Databricks and Delta Lake.
What you get
Assignments that accelerate you. Every 6 to 18 months you're in a new engagement, new industry, new architecture decisions, new stakeholders to connect and collaborate with. You'll face more distinct technical challenges in two years here than most engineers see in five.
Work that's hard to come by elsewhere. The cloud work here spans things that are rarely under one roof: multi-cloud migrations, Kubernetes PaaS platforms, AI landing zones, FinOps programs, and governed cloud foundations for enterprise AI workloads. The CNCF ecosystem (Backstage, Crossplane, ArgoCD, OpenTelemetry) is part of our active investment. As our client work shifts further into AI, you will too.
Your direction, your call. Some go deep into platform engineering, cloud security or multi-cloud architecture. Others grow toward leading engagements, taking ownership of client relationships, scope and delivery quality. Both are real paths here.
People who make you better. The people here are genuinely passionate about technology, not as a job, but as something they care about. Engineers who go deep because they want to, follow the space obsessively, and get restless when things stop moving.
The perks. 30 days vacation · hybrid work and flexible hours · private medical insurance · pension (ITP1) · wellness allowance 5,000 SEK · free choice of tools and tech · free breakfast, soda and snacks · yearly gatherings and AW's · a team with genuine interests outside work: gaming, food, running, padel, golf, football, cycling
Who you are
We're open to talking with people from different starting points. Some come from a software development background and want to go deeper into infrastructure. Some are already working with data infrastructure and want to specialize further. Some have never worked in consulting before but are curious about what that looks like in practice.
What matters more than your exact background is how you operate. You're comfortable when requirements are still being shaped, know how to make a call without a playbook, and can communicate clearly with both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders. You use AI in your daily work because you've seen it improve how you operate.
What you bring
Hands-on experience delivering production infrastructure on Azure, AWS or both
Strong proficiency in at least one IaC tool (Terraform is our primary, but solid fundamentals in CDK, Bicep or CloudFormation transfer)
Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or equivalent)
Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, VNets, routing, DNS, private endpoints and connectivity patterns
Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes fundamentals (production AKS or EKS experience is a strong plus)
You actively use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar in your daily work
Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
Strong plus: FinOps experience, policy-as-code (OPA/Rego, Azure Policy), cloud migration tooling (AWS MGN, Azure Migrate), observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux), prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
About Redeploy
Redeploy is where cloud, data, and AI come together in production. We help Nordic enterprises design, build, and operate modern tech platforms and AI solutions that are secure, scalable, and production-ready. Engineers at heart, we work hands-on across Azure, AWS, and Databricks from strategy to operations.
