Role Description The Chief Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Capital Governorate, Bahrain. This role oversees the company’s accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Chief Accountant prepares and reviews financial statements, ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, and manages tax filings and statutory reporting. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining internal controls, supervising and mentoring accounting staff, coordinating with auditors, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also involves providing financial analysis and recommendations to management, improving accounting systems and procedures, and ensuring accurate, timely financial information for decision-making.
