Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommends business planning and development activities with the key companies within the energy ecosystem and government entities.
- Provides advice on work procedures with the key companies within the energy ecosystem and relevant government entities within the energy ecosystem to establish specific targets for major projects, with the aim of increasing localization and enhancing local content in the energy sector.
- Recommends activities to ensure the existence of strategies aimed at increasing the percentage of local spending and achieving strategic objectives in energy ecosystem companies and major projects in the energy sector.
- Recommends work procedures for governing the methodology that supports and encourages increased localization and enhanced local content across all major projects related to the energy ecosystem.
- Contributes to activities aimed at aligning efforts with all entities within the energy ecosystem, major companies, and relevant entities to enhance their contribution to developing the sector's local content and identifying strategic investment opportunities to increase local content in the energy sector.
- Provides advice on processes for verifying the existence of the plans required to increase the Saudization rate in targeted projects and major companies in the energy sector.
- Contributes to activities aimed at identifying all data and information related to future major projects within the energy ecosystem from all companies and competent entities, and studying and analyzing them to compile lists of strategic investment opportunities for local content in the energy sector.
- Provides advice on tasks involving collaboration with relevant entities to establish and develop laws that encourage and contribute to enhancing local content in the energy sector.
- Makes recommendations regarding ensuring the existence of systems and regulations governing the localization rate and local content of companies affiliated with the energy ecosystem and major related projects, in order to achieve the localization and local content targets related to the energy sector under Saudi Vision 2030.
- Recommends activities involving collaboration with relevant entities to establish a monitoring mechanism for following up on projects required to meet specific localization and local content rates.
- Complies with work rules and conduct, cybersecurity policies, and procedures applicable to the organizational unit.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
Professional Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Professional certificate in Strategic Management
Required Experience:
- minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant field.
