Business Development Architect

IEC Architects + Engineers is looking for a Business Development Architect to support the firm’s growth, client relationships, proposals, and new business opportunities.
This role is ideal for an architect who is interested in the business side of the industry and wants to build a career beyond traditional design practice.
Responsibilities

Identify and research potential clients, developers, partners, and project opportunities.

Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, presentations, prequalification documents, and company profiles.

Coordinate with design, technical, and management teams to develop strong project submissions.

Manage communication and follow-up with prospective and existing clients.

Assist in client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.

Track leads, opportunities, tenders, and ongoing business discussions.

Research architecture, real estate, and construction markets to identify growth opportunities.

Support partnerships, collaborations, competitions, and international expansion initiatives.

Help maintain and strengthen IEC’s relationships with developers, consultants, and industry partners.

Contribute to the firm’s positioning, communication, and business development strategy.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Strong interest in business development, client management, and the commercial side of architecture.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prepare professional presentations and proposals.
-
Good research, organization, and follow-up skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation software.

Fluent English is highly preferred.
Previous business development experience is not mandatory. We are more interested in someone who is proactive, commercially minded, confident in communication, and genuinely interested in developing relationships and creating new opportunities.
