Enterprise selling has always been part science, part art. The data told you where to look, but closing still came down to instinct honed over years. AI changes that.
You've already made AI your unfair advantage. It's shortened your cycles, sharpened your pitch, and put deals on the board your peers are still chasing. At IgniteTech, our sellers win because they've rewired how they sell around AI; how they research an account, qualify it, handle objections in-flight, shape a proposal, and negotiate the close.
This is the role where you get to run that playbook at full speed on a warm book across our portfolio of enterprise products and set the bar for what an AI-driven closer looks like industry-wide.
What you will be doing
- AI-Driven Selling: Walk into every call with an edge most reps still dream about: instant read on the customer, tailored angles, live objection handling, next-best action already in your head before they ask. This is what selling looks like when AI does the prep and you do the winning.
- Deal Intelligence That Actually Moves Deals: Prioritize your book the way top closers wish they could; scoring every opportunity in real time on size, momentum, and strategic fit, so your calendar always points at the deals that move.
- See the Market Before It Turns: Read where demand, competitors, and buyer behavior are heading and get in front of it, turning market shifts into pipeline while other sellers are still reacting to them.
- Set the Bar: Prove what an AI-driven closer looks like at the top of the profession, as part of an AI-first organization.
What you will NOT be doing
- Running sales the old-fashioned way — gut-feel prioritization, static spreadsheets, and no predictive support.
- Grinding through cold lists or chasing prospects who were never going to buy. Every opportunity you touch is warm.
- Handing pipeline off the moment it gets interesting. You own the commercial close, not just the intro.
- Waiting on ops, marketing, or enablement for the brief, the battlecard, or the first draft of the proposal.
Responsibilities
- * Deliver quota. Consistently close new, expansion, and cross-sell bookings across the IgniteTech portfolio, quarter after quarter.
- Compress the cycle. Shorten time-from-qualified-to-signed by running an AI-driven selling motion the rest of the industry hasn't caught up to yet.
- Sell the whole portfolio, not a corner of it. Grow deal size and product breadth on the accounts you touch.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into decisions non-technical sales stakeholders can act on.
Requirements
- * At least 3 years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales, with a track record of managing and closing complex deals.
- Hands-on professional experience applying GenAI/LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to real business problems, not just familiarity with them.
- Strong grasp of sales strategy, customer journey mapping, and market dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to explain AI concepts and persuade non-technical stakeholders.
What you will learn
- You'll deepen your hands-on expertise applying generative AI to live, high-stakes sales environments — not lab experiments.
- You'll sharpen an edge you've already built. Close across every major software vertical at a volume most enterprise sellers never see. Push your AI-driven selling system further alongside peers doing the same, and walk away setting the ceiling for what an AI-first closer looks like."
