üîπ We're Hiring: BIM Coordinator | Doha, Qatar
NOVSTA Engineering is strengthening its Doha team and is looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join us full time.
We're an engineering-led design and BIM practice delivering structural, MEP and digital engineering services for contractors, EPCs, developers and owners across Australia, the Gulf and Europe. Our models are built to be constructed, measured and controlled, not just clash-free.
What you'll do
• Lead multi-discipline coordination (Architectural, Structural, MEP) through to clash-free models using Navisworks
• Manage model development from LOD 350 to LOD 500, including as-built and handover models
• Prepare and maintain the BEP, MIDP/TIDP, naming conventions and project BIM standards
• Run model QA/QC and audits against ISO 19650 and project requirements
• Develop 4D construction sequencing linked to the programme (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
• Produce 5D model-based quantities and support cost tracking and variation assessment
• Review shop drawings and design packages and raise coordination issues before they reach site
• Prepare monthly BIM progress reports and present at client and consultant coordination meetings
• Manage the CDE and information exchange with clients, consultants and subcontractors
What we're looking for
• B.Sc. in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7–8 years of BIM experience, with hands-on delivery of LOD 350, 400 and 500 models
• Proven experience in 4D and 5D BIM on live projects
• Advanced Revit and Navisworks skills; ACC/BIM 360 experience required
• Experience with Synchro, Navisworks TimeLiner or similar 4D tools
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and Qatar project requirements (Ashghal, QatarEnergy or similar) is a strong plus
• Dynamo or automation experience is an advantage
• Strong drawing review skills and confident communication in English; Arabic is a plus
• Currently based in Qatar with a transferable visa preferred
What we offer
• Full-time position based in Doha
• Work on major projects across Qatar and the wider Gulf
• A team where engineering judgement is valued over drafting volume
• Growth into senior BIM management and digital engineering roles
