We are currently seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the creation, update, and maintenance of BIM models across all project disciplines (Architectural, Structural, and MEP).
- Ensure consistency of modeling standards, naming conventions, and documentation as per company BIM protocols.
- Lead and conduct BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve model clashes using Navisworks or equivalent software.
- Support technical engineers and draftsmen in applying BIM workflows efficiently and in compliance with project standards.
- Generate coordinated drawings, schedules, and quantities extracted from BIM models as required by the project team.
- Ensure alignment between the BIM model and the latest IFC/approved drawings.
- Prepare and maintain clash detection reports and follow up on resolutions with respective teams.
- Assist in developing 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM integrations in collaboration with planning and cost control departments.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth coordination of BIM data exchange and model submissions.
- Train and guide drafting and engineering staff in the use of BIM tools and company standards.
- Support the preparation of as-built BIM models for project close-out and handover to the client.
- Ensure the BIM model reflects actual site progress and modifications by integrating data from construction updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Arch .
- 7– years of relevant experience in BIM coordination within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
- Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination, model review, clash detection, and clash resolution.
- Proven experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP models for building construction projects.
- Good understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and model submission procedures.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
