Right now, we’re searching for our next colleague to join as a Backend Engineer to help us protect our content and strengthen the technology behind a secure, reliable streaming experience. The role is in our Stockholm office. Are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
The RoleAs a Backend Engineer on playback security, you will develop the services and APIs that apply playback security decisions, revoke access and support effective action against unauthorized streaming. Working closely with other streaming engineers, backend engineers and other specialists across Viaplay, you will focus on connecting protection controls across the playback journey. Our backend services are built primarily in Node.js, Rust and Java, using serverless and event-driven architecture on AWS. We value shared ownership, learning from each other, and taking responsibility for services in production.
