Role Description The Assistant Professor role at Al Salam University is a full-time, on-site position located in Markaz Johaynah El Gharbia. The individual in this role will deliver high-quality lectures and seminars, design and update course materials, and assess student performance through exams, assignments, and projects. Daily responsibilities include advising and mentoring students, maintaining regular office hours, and contributing to departmental meetings and committees. The Assistant Professor is expected to engage in research or scholarly activity, participate in curriculum development, and support accreditation and quality assurance processes. The role also involves contributing to university service, collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives, and fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
Qualifications
* Advanced academic preparation, typically a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in the relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
* Demonstrated teaching competence at the university level, including the ability to design syllabi, deliver engaging lectures, and use varied assessment methods.
