CALLING ALL ARTISTS! ü¶îüöÄ
7 Artists Wanted | Paid Children's Book Project | $25 per Postcard
HEDGEHOGS IN SPACEEEEEE! üåå
I'm working on my first children's book featuring Professor Fogg, a very unusual hedgehog with a rather extraordinary story.
I'm looking for 7 artists to create one hedgehog-themed postcard illustration each!
The details:
- Pay: $25 per selected postcard design ($175 total artist budget).
- Medium: Anything! Hand-drawn, watercolor, digital, collage, mixed media — surprise me!
- Theme: HEDGEHOGS! Space adventures, alien planets, astronauts, rockets, strange galaxies — the weirder and more imaginative, the better!
- Content: Family-friendly / PG, please.
- Existing artwork: Absolutely welcome! You don't have to create something new.
- Deadline: Quick project! I'll coordinate timelines with the selected artists.
Artist credit matters!
Each participating artist will receive their name and attribution on their postcard. Artists retain copyright to their original artwork, and we'll agree on permission for its use in the book and related project materials before publication.
Here's the fun part:
These postcards will be part of my children's book project, and kids will be able to write letters to Professor Fogg!
I'll provide the postage so young readers can send their questions, observations, and intergalactic correspondence.
This is my first book, and I'm funding this little creative adventure myself. I know $25 isn't a professional illustration commission rate, so I'm keeping the scope small and happily welcoming existing artwork.
Interested?
Comment below or message me with a sample of your work! Please feel free to share this with an artist who might enjoy drawing hedgehogs in space.
Let's send some hedgehogs into orbit! ü¶îü™ê
Let's see who writes back to Professor FOGG.
Drop a link to your online portfolio or a link to some content, please and thank you.
