Role Description The Architect at Interiorsbyrawan will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings, and producing detailed plans for residential and commercial interiors. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating ideas into functional designs, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring projects comply with local regulations and standards. The role also involves reviewing design feasibility, collaborating with the design team, and overseeing project progress from concept through execution. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Muscat, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility as project needs allow.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically coherent spaces.
- Experience with Integration of design elements, materials, and systems to ensure cohesive and practical project outcomes.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring project milestones.
- Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic understanding of Software Development concepts is a plus for digital workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field, with professional experience in interior or architectural design projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Oman, and ability to incorporate them into designs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to stay updated on design trends and sustainable design practices.
