About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Revenue Analyst to join the resort’s Revenue Management team.
The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are
- * Analyze Booking Trends by Channel: Monitor and interpret booking pace, booking window, length of stay, regrets and denials, channel performance, and demand patterns to identify revenue opportunities and support pricing strategies.
- Channel Mix Optimization: Analyze production, profitability, acquisition costs, and booking behaviour across all distribution channels to optimize channel mix and maximize net revenue.
- Track Competitor Rates and Market Performance: Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and rate shopping to evaluate market positioning, identify pricing opportunities, and monitor competitor strategies.
- Group Displacement & Business Evaluation: Perform group displacement analyses to evaluate the revenue impact of group opportunities versus transient demand and support group pricing and acceptance decisions. This aligns with Revenue Management's role in occupancy impact, displacement, and rate evaluation.
- Forecast Demand and Revenue Performance: Analyze historical, current, and future booking trends to forecast occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, and other key business metrics.
- Executive Reporting & Performance Analysis: Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and insights on business performance, market trends, forecast accuracy, and revenue opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage Rates, Inventory, and Data Integrity: Maintain accurate rates, restrictions, and inventory across all distribution channels and systems while performing audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support Pricing and Revenue Strategies: Provide analytical recommendations for pricing, inventory controls, promotions, segmentation, and demand management initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Develop Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools: Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical models using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools.
- Provide Cross-Functional Commercial Support: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Distribution teams by providing data-driven insights and recommendations that support commercial objectives and revenue growth
About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Forecasting, preferably within a luxury hotel or integrated resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies, demand planning, budgeting, long-range planning, and business performance analysis.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range revenue forecasts and budgets.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, inventory controls, demand management, market segmentation, and revenue optimization principles.
- Experience performing group displacement analysis, transient demand analysis, and evaluating the profitability of group and negotiated business.
- Experience producing executive reports, performance presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of key hotel revenue metrics including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR, Net ADR, Revenue Index, Market Penetration Index (MPI), ARI, and RGI.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, Power Query, Pivot Tables, scenario analysis, and forecasting models.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey insights to executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
