The RoleWe are seeking a capable and commercially minded Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting activities and support timely, accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to maintain effective controls, improve accounting processes, and ensure financial operations support broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- * Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding balances, and key accounting metrics.
- Maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and highlight potential issues.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and documentation.
- Support tax, statutory, and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, operations, and management teams.
- Improve accounting workflows, systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
- Support finance projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and oversight to accounting team members.
Requirements
- * 3+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or financial management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP platforms, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
- Professional certifications are not required unless specifically requested.
