Role Description The Accountant role at Flash Group Qatar is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The accountant will support budgeting, cost tracking, and cash flow monitoring, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The position also includes collaborating with internal teams, supporting audits, and providing accurate financial data to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong financial accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
* Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to support financial planning and performance monitoring.
* Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as solid Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet skills.
* Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements applicable in Qatar or the GCC region.
* Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and reporting.
* Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
* Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
* Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a corporate or multi-branch environment in Qatar or the region, is beneficial.
