ðŸ“¢ Weâ€™re Hiring: Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage daily accounting activities accurately and efficiently.

ðŸ“Œ Position Details

Position: Accountant
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM â€“ 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and general ledger entries accurately and on time.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups and reconciliations.
Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
Assist with payroll accounting entries and reconciliations when required.
Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and account reviews.
Assist in preparing monthly financial and management reports.
Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records, invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
Support VAT, NSSF, tax, and other statutory accounting requirements in coordination with the finance team.
Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Assist with internal and external audits and perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2â€“3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
Proactive, responsible, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
