Role
We’re hiring an Accountant to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its daily financial situation.
What You'll Do
Internal Accounting
• Issues clients invoices monthly
• Issues clients’ receipts
• Follows up on collections
• Posts and journals entries related to clients to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Accounting Operations
• Reviews, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in accounting entries, documents, and reports in order to submit accurate financial data
• Manages the Accounts Receivable cycle to be reflected in a timely in-flow/collection.
• Manages the Accounts Payable cycle and ensures that payments are issued accurately and on timely basis, according to the approved treasury reports, and according to funds availability in the various bank accounts.
Third-Party Relationship Management
• Develops new sources of revenue
• Develops and maintains a good customer relationship and respond to their requirements in an efficient and effective manner.
• Maintains a healthy relation with all suppliers.
Reporting
• Performs daily, Monthly and year end closing respecting the deadlines
• Issuance of analysis and reports on timely basis to support the CSO in his/her reports preparation.
Archiving
• Proper archiving and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents (hard and electronic copies).
Team Training and Development
• Ensures our values are being lived by leading by example and monitoring the behaviour of the team.
• Develops and trains the Accounting team
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in accounting
• 3 years of experience in accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• E-commerce logistics knowledge is a plus
