3D Designer – Events, Exhibitions & Experiences

The Role
We're looking for a 3D designer in Jeddah who designs spaces that people remember. You'll turn brand ideas into immersive physical experiences: exhibition stands, booths, event venues, and activation zones. You'll plan the full customer journey, from the moment a visitor sees the space to the moment they leave. You'll create realistic visuals that win pitches and technical drawings that production teams can build from, working closely with our concept, account, and production teams.
What You'll Do
Customer Journey & Experience Design
• Map the visitor journey through every space: arrival, attraction, engagement, conversion, and exit
• Plan layouts, zoning, and visitor flow to maximize engagement and ease of movement
• Design touchpoints along the journey: brand moments, interactive stations, photo spots, and hospitality areas
• Integrate technology into spaces, such as LED screens, projection mapping, and interactive installations
• Consider crowd management, accessibility, and safety in every design
Exhibitions & Booths
• Design custom exhibition stands and booths of all sizes, from shell schemes to large island stands
• Bring the client's brand identity to life in three dimensions through form, materials, lighting, and graphics
• Design for major Saudi and regional exhibitions and follow each venue's rules and regulations
• Balance creativity with budget, build time, and logistics
Event Venues & Activation Zones
• Design event venues and setups: conferences, launches, galas, stages, and VIP lounges
• Create brand activation zones for malls, festivals, seasons, and outdoor events
• Design entrances, stage sets, backdrops, seating layouts, and wayfinding
• Develop temporary and modular structures that can be reused across events
Visualization & Presentation
• Produce photorealistic 3D renders, walkthrough animations, and 360° views for client presentations
• Create multiple design options with clear rationale for pitches
• Prepare the 3D and visual sections of pitch decks and proposals
• Present designs to clients and refine them based on feedback
Technical Drawings & Production
• Prepare detailed technical drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, and dimensions
• Specify materials, finishes, lighting, and AV requirements
• Work with production teams, fabricators, and suppliers to make sure designs are buildable
• Visit sites for surveys and oversee build-up to make sure the final result matches the design
AI & Saudi Market Adaptation
• Use AI platforms (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar) for early concept exploration and mood boards
• Customize every design to match Saudi audience expectations, culture, and client needs
• Keep up with global and regional trends in exhibition, event, and experiential design
What You Bring
• 4–6 years of 3D design experience in exhibitions, events, or experiential marketing, ideally in KSA or the GCC
• A portfolio of built projects: exhibition stands, booths, event venues, and activation zones
• Proven experience designing customer journeys and visitor flow in physical spaces
• Advanced skills in 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or SketchUp, with V-Ray, Corona, or similar render engines
• Strong AutoCAD skills for technical and production drawings
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for post-production and graphics
• Solid understanding of materials, fabrication methods, lighting, and build processes
• Knowledge of exhibition venue rules and event safety requirements
• Understanding of Saudi culture and audience expectations
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several projects at once
• Good Arabic and English communication skills
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate, and able to travel to event sites across the Kingdom
Nice to Have
• Real-time rendering with Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, Enscape, or Lumion
• Experience with major Saudi events, seasons, or exhibitions
• Experience with projection mapping, LED, or interactive technology
• Motion or animation skills for walkthroughs and event content
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field
