Job DescriptionAs a Work Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting Ashghal infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect structural construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with the project team to maintain the highest standards of construction quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- * Conduct thorough inspections of structural construction works, including foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and Ashghal requirements.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities during the construction process.
- Provide timely feedback and recommendations to the project team to address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related queries.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in structural construction.
Qualifications
- * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in structural inspection or construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction practices.
- Excellent understanding of Ashghal requirements and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel within Qatar as required.
