The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from initial planning through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and work plans.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project documents.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
- Prepare and manage subcontractor and vendor scopes, bids, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, change orders, billing, and financial performance.
- Conduct or participate in project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and action items.
- Work closely with superintendents and field personnel to coordinate construction activities and resolve issues.
- Support estimating, pre-construction, and business development activities as needed.
- Manage project closeout, including warranties, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and final documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 7+ years of construction project management or related experience, depending on project complexity.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, change orders, and documentation.
- Ability to Lead a team.
- Fluent in English.
